Our story: A sparkling adventure in the heart of Domaine Julien Chopin
Since 1947, Monthelon, nestled in the heart of the southern slopes of Épernay, has been the birthplace of a unique winemaking tradition. It was here that Julien Chopin, a visionary and passionate winemaker, founded his brand with just one hectare of vineyards and a dream: to produce exceptional Champagnes that reflect both his expertise and the character of his terroir.
A family legacy in pursuit of excellence
The Chopin family has continued this pursuit of excellence from one generation to the next. In 1969, Julien's son, Henri, gave the winery a new lease of life by expanding the Champagne range and welcoming visitors to the estate. In 2006, Julien's grandson, Emmanuel, took over the management of the winery with an approach that combines tradition and innovation, further shaping and reaffirming the winery's identity.
